Spell Tome Sketchbook Cover

Created as a regular book to hold his notes & sketches on all things magical, the artist soon found that the tome itself became imbued with powers & designs that even he didn’t know the origin of. Exploring through its pages could end up unleashing spells of many varieties…

This is probably the latest piece that I’ve put the most time into so far. There was a lot of learning and problem solving as we went through the process, but it was well worth the effort.

Made to fit the client’s personal sketchbook, this cover has stamp-tooled borders, antique nickel accents, a soft, navy blue kidskin lining, and hand-sewn straps and edges.
